CANIVEL LLC / WOD.VIDEO

Privacy policy

Canivel LLC operates WOD.video. This policy covers our website, mobile recorder and cloud recording service. Effective November 8, 2026.

Information you provide

We process your account identifier, name, email, selected division, competition and workout details. Recordings include the images, voice, equipment and surroundings you choose to capture. Cloud uploads also include video size, duration, timer settings and recording status. Support requests contain the information and contact address you submit.

Camera and local recordings

Camera and microphone access are requested for recording. Camera originals and exported videos are saved on your device. Web recordings use this browser’s local storage. Uploading a recording is a separate choice. Signing out preserves local recordings. Local libraries are associated with your account. Older mobile files require an explicit device-authenticated recovery step.

Private cloud storage and public sharing

Cloud recordings start private. Creating a competition link makes the video and its athlete, competition, workout and division information available to anyone with that link. You can revoke sharing. People may download, copy or forward a publicly shared recording. Revocation cannot remove copies already made by someone else.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate accounts, record and store workouts, display timers and athlete details, provide playback and sharing, enforce storage allowances, administer access and Premium, answer support requests, investigate reports and maintain service security. Server activity records include account identifiers, actions, endpoint names, status codes and timestamps.

Service providers

Clerk provides authentication. Neon stores application records. Cloudflare provides the API infrastructure and R2 video storage. Vercel hosts the website. Stripe processes enabled web subscriptions. These providers process information needed to deliver their services. Payment card details are entered into Stripe’s hosted checkout. Our application does not store card numbers.

Essential storage and AI

We use essential authentication cookies, deployment-routing cookies and browser storage for account sessions and local recordings. We do not sell personal information or use recordings for targeted advertising. Automatic rep counting and scorecards are planned features. Uploading a recording does not opt you into model training. Additional analysis will be explained when offered.

Retention and deletion

Completed cloud recordings remain until you delete them or request account deletion. Unfinished uploads may expire. Account deletion disables access and revokes public links immediately. A retryable background process removes hosted recordings, private profile details and authentication accounts. If a provider is temporarily unavailable, cleanup remains pending for retry and administrative review. We retain only records needed for legal, financial, security or shared-record integrity, with account profile details removed where applicable. Provider backups follow their retention cycles and remain access-restricted. Downloads and copies held by other people or devices are outside our control.

Your choices and requests

You can edit your recording information, download videos, revoke links, delete cloud copies and request account deletion in account settings. Use our privacy request form for access, correction, deletion or questions. We may verify account ownership before releasing or changing account data. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply.

Launch audience

The initial release is intended for adults 18 or older in the United States. Do not create an account if you are under 18. Please report an underage account through the privacy request form.

Changes

We update the effective date when this policy changes. Material changes will be communicated through the service when required.
